Then Ankit and Amita’s prize distribution pool will look like this:
Score Rank Prize
100 1 100,000
90 2 17,500 (Rank 2 + Rank 3)/2
90 2 17,500
80 4 4,000
70 5 1,000
Here, both Amita and Ankit have the same rank 2 as they’ve scored the same points. So, Rank 3 will not exist and as a result, the prize money from Rank 3 is added to the prize money that Amita and Ankit have won. Prize money from rank 2 and rank 3 will be split equally between Amita and Ankit. i.e. (25000(Rank 2 prize) + 10000(Rank 3 prize)/2 For example, a third player, Atul has also scored the same points as Amita and Ankit and hence, got rank 2, their prize money from rank 2, rank 3 and rank 4 will be combined and split between them. As a result, no other players will hold ranks 3 and 4.
Score Rank Prize
100 1 100,000
90 2 13,000 (Rank 2 + Rank 3 + Rank 4)/3
90 2 13,000
90 2 13,000
70 5 1,000
If you submit multiple scores for the same game and if you get the same score, your rank would also remain the same.
