How are ranks decided in Zupee Cricket Cards?
Zupee Cricket Cards is an online multiplayer game, so it is a possibility that many players have the same score. If that is the case, these rules will be applied:
- The prize pool is split equally for players getting the same ranks.
- For example, Akshit and Priya have the same rank. So, if the Prize pool breakup looks like this:
Rank Prize
Rank |
Prize |
1 |
100,000 |
2 |
25,000 |
3 |
10,000 |
4 |
2,000 |
5 |
1,000 |
The prize distribution pool look like this:
Score |
Rank |
Prize |
100 |
1 |
100,000 |
90 |
2 |
17,500 (Rank 2 + Rank 3)/2 |
90 |
2 |
17,500 |
80 |
4 |
2,000 |
70 |
5 |
1,000 |
Here, both Priya and Akshit have the same rank 2 as they’ve scored the same points. So, Rank 3 will not exist and as a result, the prize money from Rank 3 is added to the prize money that Priya and Akshit have won. Prize money from rank 2 and rank 3 will be split equally between Priya and Akshit.
i.e. (25000(Rank 2 prize) + 10000(Rank 3 prize)/2 = 17,500
Assume, a third player, Atul has also scored the same points as Priya and Akshit and hence, got rank 2, their prize money from rank 2, rank 3 and rank 4 will be combined and split between them. As a result, no other players will hold ranks 3 and 4.
