WHAT WAS LUDO NINJA?
Ludo Ninja was a unique, dice-less online Ludo game with limited moves, where players could see upcoming move values in advance and plan their strategy from the very beginning. Instead of rolling a physical dice, the game showed you how many boxes you could move on each turn - making it a more skill-based and strategic version of Ludo.
Here’s how the game was played with these rules:
- Open Tokens: All tokens started in the open position, so you didn't need to roll a 6 to begin.
- No Dice: The number of boxes you could move appeared next to your profile icon. You could also see the values for your upcoming moves to plan your strategy.
- Equal Move Values: Every player received the same number of 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s, but in a different sequence.
- Move Time: You had 10 seconds to make each move. If you didn’t play within this time, a 30-second time bank (for the entire game) was used.
- Missed Turns: Failing to move within the allowed time cost you that turn. Missing three turns led to elimination from the game.
- No Extra Turn on 6: Unlike classic Ludo, getting a 6 did not give you an extra turn.
- How to Earn Extra Turns: You got an extra turn by cutting an opponent's token or by safely bringing one of your tokens home.
- Points System: You earned 1 point for every box your token moved. If a token was cut, all the points accumulated by that token were lost.
- Home Bonus: Each token that reached home earned an additional 56 points.
